Mac Mail App

Open Mail.


From the menu bar, select Mail > Preferences > Accounts >


+ (plus) > Exchange > Continue.


Enter your Name and Email Address, and Sign In.


Select Sign In again to access your Microsoft Exchange account.


Enter your email Password and Sign in.

(You might need to choose your account type as Work or School.)


If asked, select Accept to to allow Apple to access your account.


Select the apps you want to use with this account > Done.


Your Exchange account was added! Compare both accounts to make sure everything looks good.

Important: Before continuing to the next step, please compare your POP/ IMAP account with your new Exchange account to make sure all your emails, folders, calendars, contacts and other data are present. If anything’s missing, drag and drop the item from your POP or IMAP account into your Exchange account.


Once you’ve checked that no data’s missing, you may disable or delete your POP/IMAP account.

From the menu bar, select
Mail > Preferences > Accounts.

Select your POP or IMAP account.


If you want to disable the account, go to Account Information and uncheck the box next to Enable this account.


If you want to delete the account, select – (minus), and then select OK to confirm you want to delete the account. After your account’s deleted, your mail, contacts and calendar aren’t recoverable.


Warning: If you want to delete your account, please make sure you have all your data in your new Exchange account before continuing. After you delete your account, your data's unrecoverable.
